High Mag Mineral with Rumensin and Fly Control

Vitamin mineral supplement for cattle on pasture. For increased rate of weight gain in pasture cattle (slaugther, stocker, feeder, cattle, and dairy and beef replacement heifers.) To prevent the breeding of horn flies in the manure of treated cattle only. A pesticidally active mineral feed for beef cattle containing methoprene insect growth reulator for continuous feeding during the fly season. 

Ordering and pickup hours are between 9:00am and 5:30pm, Monday-Friday. Any order placed after 5:30pm will be processed and ready for pickup the next business day. 

 

This product is formulated to be thoroughly mixed in not less than 1 lb. of feed and fed to pasture cattle (slaughter, stocker, feeder cattle, and diary and beef heifers) to provide 50 to 100 milligrams of Monensin per head per day.

 

Mix 100 lbs. of this product with 1900 lbs. of grains and/or forages to make one ton of feed containing 80 grams of Monensin per ton. Feed the resulting mix at the rate of 1.25 to 5.0 lbs./head/day to provide 50 to 100 milligrams of Monensin. During the first five days of feeding, cattle should receive no more than 100 mg per day of Monensin in not less than 1lb of feed. 

 

Fly Control Program. This mineral prevents the development of horn flies in the manure of treated cattle, but it is not effective against existing adult flies. It may be necessary to use other control measures to reduce the population of existing adult flies. In order to achieve optimum fly control this mineral should be used in conjunction with other good management and sanitation practices. Start feeding this mineral in the spring before flies appear and continue feeding throughout the summer and into the fall. This mineral may be fed to cattle up to slaughter. 

 

CAUTION: Do not allow horses or other equines access to forulation containing Monensin. Ingestion of Monensin by equines has been fatal. Monensin medicated cattle feed is safe for use in cattle only. Consumption by unapproved species may result in toxic reactions. Do not feed to lactating dairy cows. Do not exceed the levels of Monensin recommended in the feeding directions, as reduced average daily gains may result. 

 

Keep out of reach of children. Discard empty container according to local regulations. Never reuse empty container. 

 

Follow Label Directions. The addition to feeds of higher levels of this product containing Selenium is not permitted. Store in a cool, dry environment. 

 

 This product contains copper. Do not feed to sheep.
